I am a Scottish-Canadian architecture student in my third year at Edinburgh University, with a deep passion in landscape and timber construction. Growing up in Scotland and frequently travelling to Nova Scotia, I have developed a particularly keen interest in the transatlantic relationship, exploring how human construction is shaped by its cultural and natural context. I believe I stand out through my physical modelling and craft skills, as most of my models in my course have been retained by my course organisers. Additionally, I’ve received praise for my engagement with architectural acoustics and the visualising of my ideas through less traditional digital formats, receiving an A on my design course last semester.
